Visit Rebekah's Page to get updates, read messages and send messages to Rebekah and her family through comments. This is a public "diary" of a family whose little girl started a battle with inoperable cancer in April 2005. In December 2007 our house burned down. And in September 2009 Mommy was diagnosed with a terminal disease (a genetic form of ALS) that took her to Heaven in July, 2011, leaving Daddy and two young girls to make it on their own. Over several years of ups and downs, you will get into our hearts, minds and souls as we share joys and sorrows. It can sometimes be very difficult to read. We hope it is also uplifting. Please find joy in what you read here.

God DOES Have A Sense Of Humor
I don't want to belabor THE movement any more, you have all been so kind in tolerating and rejoicing with us. I do, however
have to share what a sense of humor God has.
While writing that post last night a visitor came to us through a google search. The logs speak for themselves:

Yes, God does have a sense of humor. He is giving you His joy during this time.
"The joy of the Lord is your strength." Neh. 8:10
"His anger lasts for a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime!
Weeping may go on all night, but joy comes with the morning." Ps.30:5
I continue to pray for you.
You are right to rejoice! Many aspects of life are messy and it's great to see Rebekah participating in life.
I remember when Kobi (our preemie) had his first movement...we called his grandparents to share the exciting news. It sounds weird, but sometimes the smallest (or in your case, the largest) things mean so much.
Stay strong.

Hahaha!! Now that is great! God most definitely has a sense of humor!
THERE IS SCOTT!!! WOO HOO!!!
I love you Scott. That is great!! I can feel you smiling a little bit!
I am blogging from the beach becaus I wanted to check on Rebekah today. I echoe what Pam said in the comments the other day and that is too rejoice in every situation. You need to keep your sanity by reckognizing there's still some humor in life and there is still some smiles to be had even when we walk through darkness. Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not lose my sense of humor. Bless you for that.
That is wonderful that things are moving along now. And its wonderful that you know that GOD does have a sense of humor. I am sure Rebekah feels MUCH better now.
I hope things continue to keep improving. Prayers always.
Glad you are finding lightness in this all. Thinking and praying for you and her.
His hands are on you all.
A bit of levity in the hard times.
God never lets us forget we are messy human beings with a need for a totally un-messy Lord. We need Him to make it through.
Surely the Lord is with you as you go through this.
"Father, I rejoice in the revelations of this human family as they struggle and laugh and cry, and praise Your name in spite of all they go through. I am so blessed by becoming part of their lives. You have shown me that it is a small world where we are all connected and we all need each other as we need You. Thank you,Lord for leading me to them. In Jesus' name I thank you for rebekah and her family. Amen"
God bless you as He has used you to bless me.
I prayed the other day that Rebekah would astonish the doctors. This is not quite what I envisioned!! Praise God!
Welcome to the wonderful world of "strange visitations"!!!
