This is a public "diary" of a family whose little girl started a battle with inoperable cancer in April 2005. In December 2007 our house burned down. And in September 2009 Mommy was diagnosed with a terminal disease (a genetic form of ALS) that took her to Heaven in July, 2011, leaving Daddy and two young girls to make it on their own. Over several years of ups and downs, you will get into our hearts, minds and souls as we share joys and sorrows. It can sometimes be very difficult to read. We hope it is also uplifting. Continued Treatment and www.HelpRebekah.com

“The Queen” recently asked about chemotherapy and how long it will last.  It will last into next February at least.  Treatment of the side effects of radiation will last – well who knows how long?  We pray for no ongoing side effects, which would require a miracle.

And this brings up a good chance to draw your attention back to www.HelpRebekah.com.  It is a companion website to this blog and was designed to answer the question so many have, “How Can I Help?”  It also answers general questions about Rebekah and treatment, has some photos (more coming soon I hope) and tidbits not seen in this journal.  Please check out both sites regularly.

Just read the last few days diary and am so happy for you all. Lord, continue hedging this family in with your angelic protection and pouring out your healing grace and glorious blessings. Thank you Lord for every miracle,every act of your grace and your mercy. You are an awesome God.

It is such an uplifting thing to read the past couple days and see that Rebekah is perking up and acting like her 3 year old self. God is good!

And He is HUGE!!
