Visit Rebekah's Page to get updates, read messages and send messages to Rebekah and her family through comments. This is a public "diary" of a family whose little girl started a battle with inoperable cancer in April 2005. In December 2007 our house burned down. And in September 2009 Mommy was diagnosed with a terminal disease (a genetic form of ALS) that took her to Heaven in July, 2011, leaving Daddy and two young girls to make it on their own. Over several years of ups and downs, you will get into our hearts, minds and souls as we share joys and sorrows. It can sometimes be very difficult to read. We hope it is also uplifting. Please find joy in what you read here.

Rebekah Please Get Better
Rebekah does not seem to be getting much better. She is still sick to her stomach and starting the feeding again hasn’t been possible. Not sure what is going to happen in the next few hours.
In our minds we know we should be calling to doctor which means they will probably say we should bring her in. In our hearts we don’t want that to happen.

Father God, I lift up Rebekah to you now. I ask that You put Your healing hands upon her. Lord, help her to get well. Help her to be able to eat and keep the food down. Help her to get better. I pray that you will give mom and dad the wisdom they need at this time. I admit that I don't know why this little girl is going through all of this Lord, but I know that You are with her and her family. Please comfort them, guide them and give them Your peace and comfort. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and I ask that You would heal this little girl's body of this dreadful disease. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
Many prayers will be said on the way to the coast today and this weekend
With tears of compassion for this little one, still praying for her and all of you....for Rebekah to be out of pain and nausea, for wisdom, strength, sanity, and sleep for all. Please God, help them moment by moment....Jodi
We continue to hold Rebekah and you in our thoughts and prayers. You guys are such great parents, and she and Sarah are preciouse children. God bless all of you.
Tearfully I say to you that I simply don't know what to say other than my prayers continue. This is such a trial and I wish I could do more to help you all through it.
Holding you all close to my heart and praying as always that the Lord encourage you, hold you close to Him, and meet your every need.
