Visit Rebekah's Page to get updates, read messages and send messages to Rebekah and her family through comments. This is a public "diary" of a family whose little girl started a battle with inoperable cancer in April 2005. In December 2007 our house burned down. And in September 2009 Mommy was diagnosed with a terminal disease (a genetic form of ALS) that took her to Heaven in July, 2011, leaving Daddy and two young girls to make it on their own. Over several years of ups and downs, you will get into our hearts, minds and souls as we share joys and sorrows. It can sometimes be very difficult to read. We hope it is also uplifting. Please find joy in what you read here.

Oh! She's so cute, though! She looks like a little Pixie. I think when it gets dry and fluffy it will look even cuter! Now, after the chemos...well...actually let's face it. There is nothing that will make Rebekah any less adorable.
I've thought of your family all day today.
Much love,
Laura Hesser, ESD
Yesterday, I got to spend just about 4 hours with my sweet Rebekah Christine. Most of the time we played with her baby doll. She would feed her doll a bottle, rock her and then tuck her into bed. She also showed me her Bekah Bear that also has tubes attached to her. I got to brush her beautiful long hair for the last time and look forward to brushing it again in the future. It is not her hair that makes her the precious strong little girl that she is! I am so proud of her and how brave she has already been through these last two weeks. God is good!
His ears are open to their prayers. 1 Peter 3:12
We can be confident that He will listen to us whenever we ask Him for anything in line with His will. And if we know he is listening when we make our requests, we can be sure that He will give us what we ask for. 1 John 5:14-15
Rebekah is fully lifted in prayer!
We love you sweet little girl!

What an adorable haircut! And just think how nice and cool it will be for this summer when Rebekah's outside playing. Just wash and go!

She's adorable! I will pass your web-site on to fellow Christians to pray.
What a beautiful thing... I know that cancer will be the next thing to go "bye bye". She is cute as ever Scott. Lifting you up in prayer Scott. You and your family. God is big enough.

Dear OR family,
Still thousands of miles away, still praying often daily, still touching the computer screen as if to touch Rebekah, still keeping you close in heart, still praying some more for Rebekah's total healing and supernatural strength for Scott, Frances, Adams and Mickley grandparents, and all the helpers, family and friends, at home and the hospital. I am also passing this website to anybody I am connected with for prayer for Reebekah and all of you. Oh yeah, also praying for wisdom for the doctors and nurses involved. There are so many Bible verses that could be put in here...Lamentations 2:22-23..check it out and cling to it..Love, Jodi
Oops..that was Lamentations 3:22-23....Jodi
