This is a public "diary" of a family whose little girl started a battle with inoperable cancer in April 2005. In December 2007 our house burned down. And in September 2009 Mommy was diagnosed with a terminal disease (a genetic form of ALS) that took her to Heaven in July, 2011, leaving Daddy and two young girls to make it on their own. Over several years of ups and downs, you will get into our hearts, minds and souls as we share joys and sorrows. It can sometimes be very difficult to read. We hope it is also uplifting. Please find joy in what you read here.

A Quick Update and New Video

A quick afternoon update.  Things are going pretty good.  Ashley is with us to help with the girls and provided a guided tour around the High Desert Museum where we saw lots of cool things.  More details later.

There is a smaller video up of us on the mountain yesterday at www.HelpRebekah.com in the Photos and Videos Gallery.  I apologize in advance for the quality as I only have my laptop (no decent video editing power or software) and could not get firewire working so I had to transfer over USB 1.0 which kept dropping and freezing at any higher quality.  The good news is that it should be small enough for even our dial up readers.

Thank you for your kind words of prayer and support.

How cool, I just watched all the videos! Rebekah seems to be feeling so much better. I do hope it continues. The better she feels now, the better she will do through the rest of her treatments hopefully. I cannot get over how familiar She seems to me. Or the connection that I feel with her. It is very weird. I will continue to pray, and send positive and healing energy her way.

Thank you for the video. Rebekah looked like she was enjoying the snow. Poor little Sarah, she was so bundled she could hardly walk. I hope you really enjoyed the High Desert Museum, there are some really great things to so there. I hope Frances is feeling better. I pray that you all continue to have a joyous and memorable time and have safe travels home.

So good to see you doing "normal" things, and having fun! I'm counting the weeks until I can fill your cookie order, Scott! Will continue to pray for healing especially for the throat owies! Love to all
