Visit Rebekah's Page to get updates, read messages and send messages to Rebekah and her family through comments. This is a public "diary" of a family whose little girl started a battle with inoperable cancer in April 2005. In December 2007 our house burned down. And in September 2009 Mommy was diagnosed with a terminal disease (a genetic form of ALS) that took her to Heaven in July, 2011, leaving Daddy and two young girls to make it on their own. Over several years of ups and downs, you will get into our hearts, minds and souls as we share joys and sorrows. It can sometimes be very difficult to read. We hope it is also uplifting. Please find joy in what you read here.

Thursday

WOW - what a response on comments, thank you! We guess you are really out there.

Rebekah slept a little late today (she is sleeping more and more) and then woke up quite hungry. She ate lots of oatmeal and then spent the morning playing with her sister. We haven't seen her any happier or more playful in a long time.

In fact she was doing so well that mommy decided to take her and Sarah out to run some errands today. We will see how they are doing when they get back.

Again, thank you for your support and comments - we were very uplifted today!

Dear Rebekah and OR family,

You are all so loved and prayed for daily by so many! While I would love to comment daily, others have so much more encouragement and great wisdom to offer you about many things....the greatness of our God, their love and concern for you when they do not even know you personally, how to help your mum and dad teach you to swish "magic mouthwash" for you mouth sores, etc. etc. Just echoing the comments that other Akron, OH cousins have....We continue to pray for healing, strength, and grace.......Love to ya, Jodi, for all the Tucker cousins..P.S.....passing your blogsite on to lots of friends of ours---for prayer!

Rebekah-
You are touching so many people's lives across the nation! Jakey was playing with Mommy's bracelette's and he and Michael did praying hands and said "Bekah"- so we prayed that she was having a good day with her family today! Tonight, before bed, we prayed that Rebekah's tumor goes Bye Bye! We pray for healing in her mouth and for an increase in her appetite!

We love you all,
Auntie TT, Uncle Mark, Jakey and Mikey

Hi Scott & Frances,

I keep thinking I am going to call you Frances and talk to you one on one, but haven't picked up the phone yet; partly because I don't want to interupt you and partly because I don't have my act together. This is the first time I've even checked Rebecca's website even though Daryl checks it often, so please forgive me for being a bit lame. I will call and if you want to get together I'd love to do that. We are trusting the Lord for his care for you all.

Ginger

Dearest Rebekah,
I check every day for an update and we pray for you at every meal and at bed time (Josh says heal Rebekah's head)_ I showed him your picture on the other site and he said, oh that's baby Rebekah and baby Sarah...then said, she is the twin's cousin...talk about blowing me away...Your looking beautiful and I can't wait to see you on Saturday with a whole bunch of friends...we have something fun for you...rest peacefully tonight Rebekah, Sarah, Scott and Frances, know that you are well LOVED and that GOD is taking care of you...A friend of mine just bought some green bracelets and has given me some for our family, we will wear them with pride.
God Bless, remember to let go and let GOD!
With all our LOVE,
Tracey, Russ, Zakk and Josh
