This is a public "diary" of a family whose little girl started a battle with inoperable cancer in April 2005. In December 2007 our house burned down. And in September 2009 Mommy was diagnosed with a terminal disease (a genetic form of ALS) that took her to Heaven in July, 2011, leaving Daddy and two young girls to make it on their own. Over several years of ups and downs, you will get into our hearts, minds and souls as we share joys and sorrows. It can sometimes be very difficult to read. We hope it is also uplifting. A Big Kick-Off



Make-A-Wish came out tonight with pizza, ballons, ice-cream cake and gifts. It was our kick-off for next Monday's trip including the delivery of our itinerary, paperwork, etc. We now know a little more about what is going to go on.

The made a great deal out of today and asked family and friends to come by. We had a FULL house:


Right now we are just trying to get in order to leave on Monday but please look for some regular updates and lots of photos during the trip. For now, please pray that we can actually get everything done that we need to so we are actually ready to go come Monday morning WAY EARLY.
