Visit Rebekah's Page to get updates, read messages and send messages to Rebekah and her family through comments. This is a public "diary" of a family whose little girl started a battle with inoperable cancer in April 2005. In December 2007 our house burned down. And in September 2009 Mommy was diagnosed with a terminal disease (a genetic form of ALS) that took her to Heaven in July, 2011, leaving Daddy and two young girls to make it on their own. Over several years of ups and downs, you will get into our hearts, minds and souls as we share joys and sorrows. It can sometimes be very difficult to read. We hope it is also uplifting. Please find joy in what you read here.

Saturday - and what a day.

Rebekah is again feeling really good though a bit grumpier today than yesterday. Maybe it had something to do with watching a BUNCH of people out in her front yard build her playset.

Major thanks need to go Russ and Tracey Waldron, Aunt Tiffany Schwander and the Our Place Church crew who came and built, and built and built some more. More pictures are up in the www.HelpRebekah.com photo gallery. Please check them out and, if you know anyone in them, give them a special word of thanks.

Tomorrow is one more normal day and then we start the longest hospital stay so far. We have 2 people spending the night with Rebekah during the week and could really use some people any or every day, even if for a few hours, to come play with Rebekah and take her for walks or pull her in the wagon. If you are, or know someone willing to do so please give us a call at 503-324-0111 or give Robyn a call at 503-357-5181.

Thank you and we hope God blesses you as much as He is us throughout this whole process.

Hello,
I just learned about Rebekah and her website from a posting on craigslist. I may be able to help out once in a while during her hospital visits, which hospital does she go to? It's too late in the evening to give your "volunteer coordinator" a call, but if somebody could email me, that would be great. =)
Peace,

Soooooooooooo glad to hear of all the good things from this weekend!!
The Tuckers are all wearing our "REACH THE DAY" bracelets, while telling others at church about this blogsite and helprebekah.com, too. I wonder how many conversations regarding life, death,God,and deep spiritual truths have been happening because of one little girl in Oregon named Rebekah!......Love to all, Jodi in Akron, OH

Dearest Rebekah,
Building your playset was an honor for me, (sorry about the crookedness and extra holes in the rock wall!) It was so neat to see you out there climbing up the stairs and looking over it. I was blessed to be a part of it. You are an angel and I can't wait to put up the swings (when the weather is better...this is Oregon, so say in August? LOL) You are going to have so much practice climbing (mountains) rock walls, that the mountians that you are climbing now, will be nothing. The Oregon Waldron's are all wearing your green bracelets proudly...we LOVE you little one, have fun on your new structure!

Love, Tracey
