This is a public "diary" of a family whose little girl started a battle with inoperable cancer in April 2005. In December 2007 our house burned down. And in September 2009 Mommy was diagnosed with a terminal disease (a genetic form of ALS) that took her to Heaven in July, 2011, leaving Daddy and two young girls to make it on their own. Over several years of ups and downs, you will get into our hearts, minds and souls as we share joys and sorrows. It can sometimes be very difficult to read. We hope it is also uplifting. Please find joy in what you read here.

A Little Lighter...

The next post is a little heavy so here are some beautiful pics to lighten things up. Earlier this week mommy was teaching the girls how to swaddle their baby dolls and guess what, the girls wanted swaddled too!

The girls are adorable. I've been following Rebecca's story of courage for awhile now. What a true sweetheart and she's in my prayers a lot. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.

God Willing we'll see you tomorrow at the Christmas tree farm! I don't know if you'll get this note in time but that's ok. We're exctied to see you all again. God bless you. That post was encouraging to me! So happy for you all for the joy you have this holiday season and for how far you've come on this treacherous road you've travelled. See ya soon.
